Moving Pets To or From Thailand

Ricted Kennels understands the stress that comes with relocating your pets. Thus, we are here to guide and assist you in ensuring your pet’s comfort and safety during their travel—whether it’s domestic or overseas.

Over the years, we’ve established strong relationships with many people and agencies in the pet business across the globe. With a worldwide network, we provide complete pet relocation from Thailand to any country on the map and vice versa. Our pet moving team also delivers excellent pet handling and care, making the travel comfortable for your pet and providing you with peace of mind, as well.

Services Provided

We take pride in our complete pet relocation services that include the following:

Ground and Air Transport
We arrange ground and air transport for your pet. From picking your pet up to delivering them to their destination, our team makes sure that your furkids are safe and comfortable. We also take care of the documentations and other requirements needed for your pet’s journey.

Long-distance Road Transport
For pets with a destination excessively far from the airport, we provide long-distance road transport service. We make sure your dog or cat is comfortable and relaxed in a vehicle with sufficient space and perfect temperature.

Boarding
In case your pet needs a temporary home before or after they travel, we have boarding facilities in our pet relocation office in Bangkok. Our accommodations go beyond the basic necessities, affording dogs and cats of all sizes and ages a wonderful time.

Custom Kennels
We provide custom, IATA-approved kennels to meet your pet’s specific needs and to make sure they have ample space throughout their journey.

Government-Approved Quarantine Facility
We have a boarding facility in which we can take care of your pet during the quarantine period. In the event that your pet is required to be in quarantine at its overseas destination, we’ll find a government-approved facility in that country to take them in.

Thailand’s Import Rules and Requirements

Pets traveling to or from Thailand need to have the following:

Pet Microchip
As of February 2017, pets transiting from, entering, or leaving Thailand must have a microchip as a form of identification. The microchip the veterinarian implants into your pet should comply with ISO standards, and it must be implanted before the rabies vaccine administration.

Rabies Vaccination and Certificate
Your pet should have an original rabies certificate that indicates the microchip number, inoculation date, and the validity of the vaccination.

Vet Health Certificate
You need to obtain a standard health certificate from your veterinarian, which must be issued within ten days of the flight.

Import Permit
You need to have an import permit issued by the Bangkok Animal Quarantine Station before your pet can enter Thailand. This permit is valid for 45 days from date of issue.

Additional Vaccines
Vaccines for canine distemper, Parvovirus, feline viral Rhinotracheitis, cat flu-feline calicivirus, and other contagious viral diseases may be necessary. These additional vaccines must be no less than 21 days old at the time of your pet’s arrival in Thailand.

With our extensive knowledge and network, we will assist you in securing some, if not all, of the requirements listed above. Just tell us what you need, and we’ll do our best to provide them.
